I worked in veterinary medicine for about 30 years as a certified veterinary technician and hospital manager. When I changed careers, I no longer had the luxury of being so closely involved in pet’s care. Recently, my dog had complications from a surgery (not performed at Gibson Veterinary Clinic). This caused me a great deal of worry and concern. I admit, I have some pretty high expectations of what I desire from not just my veterinarian but the entire veterinary team who care for my pets. I am happy to say that everyone I have interacted with has far exceeded my expectations in their professionalism, care and knowledge. I have attended many veterinary management and customer service seminars through out my career and everyone at Gibson Veterinary Clinic checked all the boxes and then some. I really can’t say enough about the Gibson City Veterinary clinic.   When our dog Maggie got critically injured; we called our regular veterinarian; but it was after hours and he never called us back,….(even months later he never called us back); we were scared and worried …as blood was spurting out of her….so we called the Gibson city veterinary clinic… I can not praise them enough. We were not their patients, and yet they came in after hours and saved our dog’s life… If you love your pets and want Drs… That realize that they are members of your family..,..call them…. They are wonderful

I appreciate the way my dogs are always treated like they are special and the care taken to ensure that they have a positive visit each time. Everyone I encounter there has been very positive and friendly, and that makes it a welcoming environment for parents and their furkids.

Dr.Tucker at the Gibson City Vetinary Clinic is great with my horse. The staff there is also awesome to work with. I have been working through some eye issues with my horse and she knew when it was time to refer him to the eye specialist at the U of I. I would recommend her to anyone who needs an equine vet. I just got two new kittens and I will also be using this Clinic for their health needs.

Everyone is friendly and gentle with the pets. I am always able to get in and they have extended hours. The prices are reasonable.  I am from a bigger city and receive the same care here as I did there.

I love bringing Carly to the Gibson City vet clinic as the staff treats her like a pet of their own.  They are so gentle with her and I always feel good about her treatment.  After she has her yearly checkup someone from the clinic calls the next day to check and make sure she is feeling okay.
