Meet the Veterinary!
DR. TUCKER
I was raised in Gibson City on a horse farm with a menagerie of animals during my childhood. Being a veterinarian was the only thing I ever wanted to be. I received a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 2005, with honors, after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science in 2003 and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 1999.
Upon graduation, I returned home and started working at Gibson Veterinary Clinic, my childhood veterinary clinic. My interests include equine reproduction, internal medicine, and dentistry as well as small animal reproduction, medicine and preventative medicine.
I am a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, American Veterinary Medical Association, and Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association. I am also a member of Well Managed Practice™ Group I. This management group is the first veterinary practice management group in North America that represents Small Animal/Equine Mixed Practices.
I live in rural Gibson City with my husband, Kevin Davis, & twin sons, Thomas & Tucker. Our older son, Aidan & his wife, Jeven & daughter, Eloise also live in Gibson City. I have fallen in love with French Bulldogs & have several with the aspirations of maybe breeding them one day. We also have a goofy Boxer.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family & friends, as well as being active doing CrossFit. I, along with 3 other friends, own and operate The Edge Strength and Conditioning Club in Gibson City. I also have served on the GCMS Board of Education since 2017 and will jump in as a substitute teacher when needed for the district.
