Amanda has been a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) at Gibson Veterinary Clinic since 2013 after completing the veterinary technician program at Parkland College. In 2022, she took on the additional role of Practice Manager while continuing her CVT duties. Her three four-legged children, Boomer (her loyal companion for 13 years), Oscar Jack, and Jasper Wayne, keep her busy. Amanda’s passion lies in spending time with friends and family, enjoying the outdoors and sunshine, riding her horse on trails, and barrel racing.

Growing up on a farm in Fairbury, Lori has always had a deep passion and love for animals. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her horses, working out at the local gym, and spending time with her close friends and her large family of eight siblings!

CARA
Animal Caretaker
Cara joined the Gibson Vet Clinic as an animal caretaker in August 2023, hoping that working with animals would help her cope with the loss of two dogs within months of each other. However, this plan didn’t go as expected. Since then, she has adopted two senior dogs to provide them with a loving, peaceful home in their final years. In addition to her dogs, Cara cares for two cats and a variety of animals on the family farm, including horses, donkeys, alpacas, goats, and plenty of poultry. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and adorable grandbabies, trail riding her horses, and tending to her garden.
