Suzanne M. Slagel, DVM
Suzanne Slagel attended the University of Illinois where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Science in 1994 and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Upon graduation, Dr. Slagel joined the staff at Gibson Veterinary Clinic as an Associate Veterinarian. In 2005, she partnered with Dr. Tucker and purchased Gibson Veterinary Clinic, Ltd. Dr. Slagel is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association. Her interests include small animal internal medicine, surgery and dentistry.
Dr. Slagel and her husband, Mark, reside in Strawn with their four children: Megan, Kari, Evan, and Andrew; a Great Pyrenees mix, Shelby; 2 cats, Lena & Nala; and Quarter Horse, Diego.
Emily E. Tucker, DVM
Emily Tucker, a lifelong resident of Gibson City, received a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 2005 after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science in 2003 and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 1999. In 2005, Dr. Tucker became co-owner of Gibson Veterinary Clinic, Ltd. Her interests include equine reproduction, internal medicine, and dentistry. She also enjoys small animal medicine and preventative medicine.
Dr. Tucker is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, American Veterinary Medical Association, and Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Tucker is also a member of Well Managed Practice™ Group I. This management group is the first Veterinary Practice management group in North America that represents Small Animal/Equine Mixed Practices.
Dr. Tucker and her husband, Kevin Davis, stepson, Aidan & twin sons, Thomas & Tucker live in rural Gibson City with Sadie, a dachshund x labrador mix; Bella, a longhaired Dachshund; Ike, a boxer; 5 cats: Larry, Chunk, Sweets, Callie and Spanky, & 2 guinea pigs. Dr. Tucker enjoys raising miniature horses and donkeys.

Nicole Vaughn
Nicole joined Gibson Veterinary Clinic, Ltd as our practice manager in May of 2011 after working as a technician for the last 11 years. Nicole lives in Melvin with her husband, Andy & 2 children: Emily & Landen. She has 2 dogs & enjoys spending time with family, riding horses and hunting with her husband.

Ann Stork
Ann has worked as a veterinary assistant and receptionist since 1987. She joined Gibson Veterinary Clinic, Ltd in 2002. Ann resides in Roberts with her horse, Joy; dog, Lucky; & many cats. She has her own building devoted to rehabilitating and caring for geriatric cats. She also enjoys riding horses, reading and spending time with her 9 nieces and nephews.
Zoe Groff
The newest member of our team, Zoe joined our team June of 2011. She moved back to the Colfax area from Tennessee with her family, Howie her husband and her two boys Gavin & Kyler. She has 2 dogs and the newest addition to her family a leopard gecko named Skidder. She enjoys spending her off time with her family, gardening, reading, and crafting. She is looking forward to getting to know all of her new clients and patients!

Abby Vogel
Abby joined Gibson Veterinary Clinic, Ltd through ICE in 2008. After graduation, she became a full time team member. Abby enjoys all aspects of the clinic but has a strong interest in equine ambulatory calls with Dr Tucker. She lives in rural Cissna Park and is currently attending Parkland Community College. On her "time off" she enjoys spending time with her two quarter horses, Tanner and Lane.
Madison Conley
Madison joined our team in May 2011. She started her veterinarian vocation while in high school volunteering at local vet hospitals. She devotes all of her time and energy to learning every aspect of the veterinary field, her favorite being spending quality time with all her new four legged friends. She is also a cosmetologist. Madi lives in Saybrook & has two Golden Retrievers, Marty & Bailey.
